About the Sametime Product Management Team

Welcome to the team blog for members of the IBM Lotus Sametime Product Management and Marketing team. The goal of this blog is to provide details and insights into the Lotus Sametime product family and IBM's Unified Communications and Collaboration strategy, and to serve as a means of soliciting feedback on our solutions.About the team (to be updated further)
Rob Ingram is a senior product manager for Lotus Sametime based in Westford, MA. In this role, he works with customers, business partners and IBM teams to define the product strategy and drive the product requirements for the Sametime product family. He spends an equal amount of his day presenting to customers and listening to and prioritizing and translating their product needs to the Sametime development team. Rob has spent the majority of his career dedicated to messaging and collaboration software, most recently in the Lotus Domino team. He is originally from Scotland and holds both engineering and MBA degrees.
David Marshak is the Senior Product Manager for Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC²) focusing on Sametime strategy for telephony, audio, and video. Prior joining IBM in 2005, he was an industry analyst and consultant with the Patricia Seybold Group.
Jeff Reser is Senior Product Manager for Unified Communications & Collaboration, and has responsibility for the strategy and direction of the Sametime open platform as well as Sametime Mobile. Prior to his role with the UC² team, Jeff was in the Mobile & Wireless group, in which he was responsible for driving UC technology to smartphones, PDAs, and other mobile devices. Jeff was a product manager for WebSphere Application Server since its inception, and his earlier career included positions in product development, architecture, strategy, and marketing in leading-edge cross-industry Java and Internet technology. Jeff has a degree in Astronomy and in Computer Science from Pennsylvania State University.
Patty Williams is the worldwide Marketing Manager for Lotus Sametime software and has been using Sametime...well, before it was called Sametime. Patty has an MBA with a concentration in marketing and organizational behavior--the confluence of these two disciplines is at the center of what she does. Her responsibilities include creating materials that communicate how Lotus Sametime software and the IBM Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC2) strategy can help organizations move through the 21st century--with speed and agility.
Adam Gartenberg was formerly the Senior Offering Manager for Lotus Sametime, and is now the team lead for social marketing initiatives for IBM's Data Management software.
